Day 1- Teaching Learning Method
As per the guidelines of the NCF 2023, Grade wise activities were conducted in accordance with the details mentioned in the circular.

  • Foundational Stage - Thumb printing and Hand painting activity was conducted.
  • Preparatory Stage- Masks of animals and birds and colourful boxes were made.
  • Middle and Secondary Stage- Puppet making, Chart making and slogan writing along with reading activity was conducted.
  • The different charts and posters made by the students were exhibited.
  • Literary displays - Story and Poem writing were also conducted.

The second day of Saptah was dedicated to numerical literacy, featuring various activities for Kindergarten and Grades 1 and 2. Teachers engaged students in hands-on number learning activities.

Grade 1 students created numbers from 0 to 9 using clay, while Grade 2 students formed geometrical figures using toothpicks and clay.

LKG students counted objects and matched them with the correct numbers using beads and flashcards. UKG students played a "Missing Numbers" game from 1 to 100 with flashcards

Day 3 Sports Day
Different sports activities pertaining to the local culture of Karnataka were a part of the Day 3 of Shiksha Saptah. The PE department conducted Marbles game for Grade 5, Bicycle Tyre race for Grade 6, Top( Lattoo) for Grade 7, Laghori for Grade 8 and Kho -Kho for Grade 9 students. There was a brief introduction to the games by the PE Instructor, before the students got on to the ground. They enjoyed the games which otherwise are not played by the present generation unlike children of the olden days.

Day 4: Cultural Day 

Grade 7 presented a special assembly on culture of Uttarakhand and Karnataka.
Students dressed up in traditional attire . The assembly was about the vivid culture and tradition of the different states, particularly Uttharakhand and Karnataka. Students performed traditional and folk dance of Uttarakhand and spoke about its essence.

Day 5. Skilling and Digital Initiatives Day

Skit on Stress Management - Grade 10

The students of grade 10 conducted skits on Stress management to depict various ways by which stress could be managed. The topics were based on Peer pressure and Exam stress

Role Plays on Setting Goals and  achieving them- Grade 8

Students of grade 8 conducted role plays which involved themes such as -  How to set and achieve goals Motivation, Inspiration and ways to overcome disappointment.

Role plays on Mannerism and Etiquette- Grade 5

Students of grade 5 conducted role plays  depicting Good manners and basic etiquette to be followed in order to bring awareness among students regarding the same.

 Role Plays on “Being Myself”- Grade 6

Students of Grade 6 conducted role plays depicting inclusion and acceptance of oneself and others.

Art Integration

The students were involved in a joyful learning experience which promoted creativity among  them.

The students of grade 8 and 9 were engaged in “Bag making activity”. They designed different kinds of bags ( sling bags, tote bags and pouches). The materials used were bags, acrylic colours and brushes.

 Digital Initiatives

Activity: Animation and Digital Storytelling.- Grade 6 to 9

Description: Students of Grade 6 to 9 participated in a coding activity where they used Scratch and Pictoblox platforms to create their own animated stories. This activity is designed to make coding accessible and fun by focusing on the following aspects 1.Designing and animating characters   2. Plot Sequencing:3. Narrative Conveyance.

Day 6. Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE/School Nutrition Day
In alignment with the initiative, the school had organised tree plantation drive.Various kinds of saplings were planted in the school premises by the Eco club students. The saplings were accompanied by a display of the name of the plant and the contributor. The Eco Club students pledged to nurture their respective saplings and care for them. These saplings were dedicated to motherhood and mother nature.

Under the Vidyanjali Programme, students participated in the Community Involvement Day. 
They made placards with messages of saving water, electricity, and the appropriate disposal of garbage. They also conducted a survey in the neighborhood to understand the usage of water and electricity and the disposal of garbage. They also shared some valuable input about rainwater harvesting, segregation of waste, and using solar energy. The principal and teachers, along with students, will share notes of gratitude with the volunteers.
