Vigilance Awareness
SSHS fosters a sense of responsibility, honesty and integrity among students. Aims at promoting ethical behaviour, to instill a culture of transparency with various campaigns and activities.
The Vigilance Awareness Week is observed every year during the last week of October to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. This day is also observed as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas. Teachers and students take online pledge to make India corruption free.
Adhering to the theme of the year “Say no to corruption , commit to the Nation”, the following activities are conducted in the school.
The institution’s idea is to inculcate the values of integrity, honesty, dedication and accountability which seems to have lost its sheen but with determination and commitment, we can revive our nation as a Corruption Free Nation.
Students actively participate in all the activities, which reflects that our country will be in safer hands in future.
- A special assembly to educate students about corruption as an evil is held. Students speak about the evils of corruption and also the steps that can be incorporated to eradicate it.
- Competitions such as elocution on ‘How Value Education Contributes in Controlling Corruption’ are held. Students speak about their view on the topic giving inputs about the importance of values in dealing with the system in a country.
